This event is part of a series of one-day meetings aimed at bringing together geometric group theorists, topologists, and geometers in the North Rhine–Westphalia region of Germany.

Prof. Dr. Stephan Stadler (Universität Bielefeld) will give a talk entitled "Minimal surfaces, isoperimetric inequalities and non-positive curvature" at the Colloquium Wilhelm Killing on 13 May 2026. Tea time starts at 3:15 pm in the Cluster Common Room. 

This second M²A² workshop aims to further mathematical modeling and model falsification in the sciences and to point out important new mathematical theories being and having to be developed for a better understanding of real world phenomena.

The Young Geometers meeting aims at bridging subareas of Differential Geometry by bringing together early career researchers working in geometry and related fields. The focus of the conference is therefore to provide networking opportunities for advanced master students, PhD Students and early career PostDocs.
