Young Professors Programme (YPP)

The Young Professors Program supports and accompanies junior professors and junior research group leaders in their individual career and personal development as well as in their everyday professional life.

The program offers assistance in successfully mastering the various challenges and current career steps. Our aim is to provide needs-oriented and flexible support. All offers can be used and combined individually. Find out more about the program here.

The events can be booked and attended independently of each other free of charge. It is also possible to organize additional specific events. Please feel free to contact the coordinator at any time if required.

Overview of Offers

The programme includes synchronous and asynchronous course formats such as face-to-face and online training, e-learning and advisory services on relevant topics from your day-to-day work, as well as various networking opportunities.

  • PERSONALENTWICKLUNG KOMPAKT!

    Under PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT COMPACT! Information - Advice - Exchange you receive short-term and individual support on various personnel development topics (personnel selection, onboarding and annual dialog). It also offers the opportunity for networking.

  • ONBOARDING OF PROFESSORS

    The programme Onboarding of Professors is aimed specifically at new professors at the University of Münster. In various event formats, you will learn more about the internal structures and diverse support services and have the opportunity to network with other first-time and newly appointed professors as well as central contact persons in the university administration and the Rectorate.

  • E-LEARNING

    With the e-learning offer that we have set up together with our cooperation partner Pinktum, you can continue your training individually, specifically and at any time.

    And this is how it works:

    • Use this link, register with your university e-mail address and enter your title in the first name (e.g.: Prof. Dr. Alfred) so that the certificate for the training course you have passed is issued correctly.
    • Select the courses that suit you under Training courses/training catalog.
    • Click on "Book now" to request the e-training course together with a brief description of what you want to use the course for.
    • As soon as it is activated for you, you will receive an e-mail and you can get started.

  • NETWORKING

    You can express your interest in a networking event as part of the program, e.g. a YPP lunch, here.
