Deadlines for Term Paper Submissions (Abgabefristen für Hausarbeiten)

In general, students are given fours weeks to complete and submit their term papers. Since the lecture period usually ends on a Friday, term papers are due on the Monday four weeks later. Electronic submissions may be uploaded or sent until midnight on the due date. The type of acceptable submission, i.e. upload or email, is determined and communicated by the instructor. Paper submissions must consider building opening hours as indicated on the website.

Students completing their practical semester (Praxissemester, M.Ed.) may apply for a two-week extension of the submission deadline with their examiner. These rules do not apply to other types of practical training, internships or stays abroad. Deadline extensions can only be granted to reasons such as listed in the relevant exam regulations (Rahenordnung, Prüfungsordnung).
