    Soochow University is located on the cultural axis of Taipei city. Near the National Palace Museum, among lush green hills and a clear stream flowing by, the Waishuanghsi Campus presents spectacular views and offers students a special study environment.

    The School of Law, School of Business and Extension School are located on the Downtown Campus, in the administrative and commercial center of Taipei.

    The university offers free Chinese language courses and a buddy program for exchange students. The exchange is possible for Bachelor and Master students.

    The National Taiwan University is located in Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan. In the summer it is very hot in Taipei (30 - 35 degrees) and due to the high humidity everybody tries to stay in cooled rooms or in the water park. The winter temperatures, therefore, are much more pleasant (20 - 25 degrees).

    NTU is the most prestigious university in Taiwan and furthermore one of the top-ranked universities in Asia. The university is especially suitable for students studying Philology, Natural Sciences, Law, Medicine, Economics. Both bachelor's and master's students are eligible to apply. The university also offers free Chinese courses for exchange students.

    The National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) is located in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan.

    NTNU was founded more than 60 years ago, making it one of the oldest universities in Taiwan. Under the motto “Sincerity, Integrity, Diligence and Simplicity”, NTNU educates around 16,000 students, of which around 12 percent are international students. Originally, the university was dedicated to apprenticeship training, but today a total of 10 different colleges offer 37 Bachelor's degree programs and around 99 Master's degree programs. It is therefore possible for both Bachelor's and Master's students to apply. The university's Mandarin Training Center (MTC) also offers Mandarin language courses for non-Chinese speaking students.

    Prerequisites:

    • very good grades (at least 2.0 as German average grade)
    • good knowledge of English (min B2; certified by TOEFL or IELTS)
    • Knowledge of Chinese is required in some faculties, e.g. Institute of History: TOCFL Level 4 or New HSK 6

    Insurances:

    • All exchange students are required to purchase both overseas Accidental  Insurance & overseas Medical Insurance at home country.
    • Each kind of insurance shall worth a minimum of NT$1,000,000 (approx.  US$35,000) valid for the entire exchange period.
