Checklist for the dialogue-oriented service procedure (DoSV) at the University of Münster

  • 1. Registration & Application

    • Please register on Hochschulstart in order to receive a BID (applicant's registration number) and BAN (applicant's registration number).
    • Please go to the application portal from the University of Münster, enter your BID and BAN and submit your application on time (deadline: winter semester 15 July/summer semester 15 January).
    • You will then receive an email confirmation with a check sheet with your application number.
    • In order to see the status of your application, please login to the info portal of your application. You can check here whether you have to perform any uploads.
    • Please note that all applicants can submit up to 12 restricted-admission degree programmes. The applications for the medical degree programmes (Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy) are counted here as well and the applications have to be submitted through AntOn. You will gain access to the AntOn portal after registration in the DoSV portal from Hochschulstart.
  • 2. Priorization & Coordination Rules

    • After submitting your application you will have to priorize the degree programmes. To do so please log in to the portal from Hochschulstart. You have to finalize your priorization by 15 July (winter semester)/15 January (summer semester). Please find further information about the priorization process on the website from Hochschulstart [de].
    • Please familiarize yourself with the coordination rules applied by the DoSV procedure during the coordination phase. An offer of admission could be accepted automatically through the coordination rules, the priorization and a possible further offer of admission. This eliminates all other offers of admission from the procedure. Please find detailed information about the coordination rules here [de].
  • 3. Admission & Enrolment

    • Offers of admission will be sent from the end of July (winter semester)/the end of January (summer semester). As soon as you have received an offer of admission actively or automatically because of your priorization and the coordination rules, you will find your letter of admission the next day in the info portal of your application.
    • The letter of admission contains important information about the enrolment. You will be notified about the enrolment deadline and the required documents that have to be uploaded.
  • 4. Rejection & Succession Procedure

    • In case you do not receive an offer of admission by the end of the coordination phase (24 August for the winter semester/24 February for the summer semester), you will be issued a letter of rejection for each degree programme in the portal from Hochschulstart [de].
    • You will receive information on how to register for a possible succession procedure from 24 August (winter semester)/24 February (summer semester), as long as no offer of admission is still available in your application portal from DoSV.
