Ein Meilenstein des akademischen Weges

Fachbereich Mathematik und Informatik feierte Promotionsabschlüsse

Am 3. Juli 2026 fand im Schloss die feierliche Promotionsfeier des Fachbereichs Mathematik und Informatik statt. Alle Promovierten, die im zurückliegenden Jahr ihre Promotion erfolgreich abgeschlossen haben, sowie ihre Familie und Freunde waren dazu eingeladen.

Während der Veranstaltung stellten die frischgebackenen Doktorand:innen Highlights ihrer Promotionszeit und Forschungsergebnisse vor und zeigten so das breite Spektrum der am Fachbereich behandelten Themen. 

Im Anschluss an die Präsentationen erfolgte die feierliche Vereidigung und Überreichung der Promotionsurkunden durch den Dekan Prof. Dr. Arthur Bartels. Für den musikalischen Rahmen der Veranstaltung sorgte Chun-Kai Chien, der mit Klavierstücken von Franz Schubert, George Gershwin und Sergei Wassiljewitsch Rachmaninow eine festliche Atmosphäre schuf.
