iDisplays (InfoDisplays)

Service: You can use our iDisplays to spread information (e.g. event announcements, press releases, announcements) at the University of Münster. They are installed at numerous locations and are suitable for publishing information university-wide or only in certain departments.

    Publishing Content on Non-Central iDisplays
    If you would like to publish content on departmental iDisplays, please contact the relevant department.

  • Editing with xibo (for Editors)

    The open source program "xibo" is used as an iDisplay system. Our video tutorial provides a brief introduction for editors. You can also download PDF instructions and a layout template (for students, for employees) here.

  • Procurement of new iDisplays

    If there is a need for new iDisplays, institutes can contact our media technology team directly by email. We will take care of the planning, procurement, installation and set-up for you. All costs must be covered by the institute:

    • Hardware: approx. 1,500 euros (as of December 2023)
    • Installation (incl. connections): approx. 300-1,000 euros
