The Münster Center for Open Science (MüCOS) is a central institution that networks, bundles and expands the open science offerings and expertise at the University of Münster. It supports the university management, departments and scientific centres as well as individual working groups and scientists in the promotion and implementation of Open Science. Through national and international networking and accompanying research in the field of Open Science, MüCOS contributes to strengthening and deepening the understanding of the conditions and consequences of open research. 

The Center for Digital Humanities (CDH) is an interest group of digital researchers from different departments and handles the scientific shaping of the thematic field of Digital Humanities at the Münster location.

The Service Center for Digital Humanities (SCDH) supports the community of DH researchers by providing professional project advice and guidance from proposal submission to publication. The SCDH is located at the University and State Library (ULB).

Open Science Commission Psychology

The Open Science Commission of the Institutes of Psychology actively improves the quality of psychological research. To this end, it discusses implications for psychology at the University of Münster and endeavors to establish core aspects of Open Science in research, teaching and administration together with all work units and the department.
