2nd Münster – Imperial Day in PDEs

27 January 2026

Due to a large number of common mathematical interests in very diverse fields of mathematics, we decided to introduce a themed meeting bringing together researchers from the two institutions in related areas. The main objective is to get an idea about research interests and projects in each others' department (specifically at the PhD and postdoc level) and to provide a forum for future collaborations.

YMCN Geometry, HOlonomy and Structures with Torsion (GHOST)

23 – 27 March 2026

The goal of this workshop is to bring together young European-based researchers under the broad umbrella of geometric structures. We aim to provide a place for interaction and sharing of research ideas across a range of disciplines: these include Spin geometry, special holonomy, almost Hermitian geometry, hypercomplex geometry, or Kähler and complex algebraic geometry and related topics.

Young Geometers Meeting

31 August – 4 September 2026

The Young Geometers meeting aims at bridging subareas of Differential Geometry by bringing together early career researchers working in geometry and related fields. The focus of the conference is therefore to provide networking opportunities for advanced master students, PhD Students and early career PostDocs.

Opening Conference: 2nd Funding Period of Mathematics Münster

16 – 18 September 2026

In Honor of Bernhard Riemann’s 200th birthday
The Cluster of Excellence 'Mathematics Münster' has recently obtained continued funding for its second term. Much like the cluster bridges the full spectrum of mathematics at Münster ‒ from pure to applied ‒ the conference aims to unite prominent international mathematicians, cluster researchers, and early career scholars.
