Licenses for larger events and webinar

Note: Discontinuation of Large-Scale Licenses via Zoom X

As of April 1, 2026, Zoom X will no longer provide Big Meeting licenses (>300 participants) or Webinar licenses (>500 participants) for large events.
As part of budget consolidation, Zoom’s large-scale licenses were identified as a significant cost factor and have therefore been discontinued. Please verify whether a large-scale license or a 1,000-participant webinar license is necessary for your needs. If this is the case, please contact our IT Advisory Service (beratung@uni-muenster.de) for assistance and to learn about possible alternatives.

All meetings with fewer than 300 participants will continue to be provided via Zoom X as usual. The same applies to the booking of 500-person webinar licenses.
