Student Advice and Counselling Centre (ZSB)

The Student Advice and Counselling Centre (ZSB) provides advice and support in your transition from school to university (in choosing and preparing courses of studies), as well as during your studies. The Centre offers help in finding solutions to individual problems. Taking your personal situation as the starting point, our aim is to give you information and guidance and, working together with you, draw up possible courses of action.

The International Office advises and supports students at Münster University who would like to complete part of their studies at a university abroad. In addition, we look after international degree-seeking students who are studying full-time at the University of Münster. For them, we are the central point of contact for information and support for a good start to their studies and life in Münster.

The Career Service has a comprehensive range of seminars, information and advisory services for undergraduates, PhD students and graduates, helping them to develop a sound career profile, gain and reflect on practical experience, make contacts with employers and, last but not least, learn strategies and techniques for making job applications.

General Students’ Committee (AStA)

The General Students’ Committee (“Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss”, short: “AStA”) represents all students at Münster University. It is elected for one year as an executive body by the student parliament. AStA is composed of the chairpersons, student advisors and affiliated projects. Here, women, lesbians, gay men, disabled and chronically ill students have their own respective student representatives in autonomous departments.
