Random selection procedure

Applications for a possible random selection procedure can be submitted for Bachelor and State Examination programmes in the winter semester from September 15 to September 22 and can only be submitted digitally via the University of Münster's application portal.

Only if there are still places available after completion of the regular allocation procedure, or at the latest aftercompletion of the succession procedures, will a lottery be drawn from these applications.

All prospective students can apply for the random selection procedure, regardles of whether they have already taken part in the regular application procedure for the degree programmes.

Lottery applications can be submitted from 15th September 2024 for the following degree programmes:

  • Bachelor Geoinformatik

  • Bachelor Lebensmittelchemie

  • Bachelor Public Governance Across Borders

  • Bachelor BK Englisch

  • Bachelor BK Ernährungs- und Hauswirtschaftswissenschaft

  • Bachelor BK Gesundheitswissenschaft/Pflege

  • Bachelor BK Wirtschaftslehre/Politik

  • Bachelor HRSGe Biologie

  • Bachelor HRSGe Wirtschaft-Politik

  • Bachelor für das Lehramt an Grundschulen Lernbereich Natur- und Gesellschaftswis. (Sachunterricht) → ATTENTION: Registration is only possible for students who are currently enrolled in the Bachelor's degree Bachelor für das Lehramt an Grundschulen at the University of Münster.

  • Bachelor für das Lehramt für sonderpädagogische Förderung Deutsch

  • Bachelor für das Lehramt für sonderpädagogische Förderung Mathematik

  • Zwei-Fach-Bachelor Germanistik

  • Zwei-Fach-Bachelor Informatik

  • Zwei-Fach-Bachelor Soziologie
