summer semester from 15 until 22 March and for a winter semester from 15 until 22 September

Changes may still occur, as the capacity utilisation of the individual degree programmes is reviewed on a regular basis. The final overview will be available on 15 March for the summer semester and on 15 September for the winter semester.

  • When is there a random selection procedure?

Only if there are still places available after completion of the regular allocation procedure, or at the latest aftercompletion of the succession procedures, will a lottery be drawn from these applications. This means that just because you can submit an application does not mean that places will be allocated. Applications are collected in order to be able to react quickly and fill vacancies.

  • Who can apply?

All prospective students can apply for the random selection procedure, regardles of whether they have already taken part in the regular application procedure for the degree programmes.

  • Will I receive a rejection notice?

No. Anyone who has not received a letter of admission for a winter semester by 1 November or for a summer semester by 1 May is deemed to have been rejected.
