The Department of Neuromotor Behavior and Exercise in the Institute of Sport and Exercise Sciences, Faculty of Psychology and Sport Sciences, at the University of Münster, Germany, is seeking to fill the osition of a

 

Research Associate
Wissenschaftliche*r Mitarbeiter*in
(salary level TV-L E 13)

 

commencing on 1 October 2023. We are offering a fixed-term part-time position (50%) for 1 year, until 30 September 2024 for filling in teaching requirement of 4,5 hours per semester.

 

Your tasks:

  • Teaching of classes within the Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Sports, Exercise, and Human  Performance and/or the Bachelor and Master of Education (e.g. Movement Analysis or Cognition or  Health Studies) in English or German Language
  • Contribution to scientific projects of the Department of Neuromotor Behavior and Exercise on Parkinson’s Disease or on motor control and learning (data collection, data processing, data analysis, publication)
  • Developing an own research proposal within one project of the department
  • Participation in self-administration

 

Our expectations:

  • A graduate degree (master’s degree) in Sport and Exercise Sciences or related studies such as Neuroscience or Psychology is required.
  • Good command of written and spoken English is expected.
  • Good knowledge of statistical methods is expected.
  • German language skills are required.
  • Solid knowledge of human movement sciences, cognitive sciences and/or neuroscience is desirable.
  • Desired soft skills: team-oriented, good communication skills, excellent organisational skills
