Faculty Committee for Biology

The Faculty Committee is the highest resolving committee within the faculty of Biology. It is directly responsible for affairs revolving around the faculty. The aforementioned affairs contain for example the selection of the deanery, as well as the dean and the vicedeans. The committee also enacts study-, examination-, doctoral and habilitation regulations and evaluates the faculty's economic and structural aspirations. Lastly, the committee also decides the spots in other committees of the department. These other committees could either prepare the work of the Faculty Committee (for example the student advisory board) or work in completely different fields within the faculty.
