Study Advisory Board
As part of the higher education act, the Study Advisory Board directly replaced what was before known as the Commission for teaching - and student affairs (KLSA). It's tasks are for example working out recommendations either for the implementation or the coordination of new study programs. Part of this task is the creation of exam regulations, as well as working out structures for the study program such as the timetable. The Study Advisory Board also discusses whether a study program is to be changed, either thematically or structurally. This can range from reworking certain modules to reshaping entire study programs. 
The aforementioned topics are mere recommendations for the Faculty Committee, which ultimately decides on implementing the ideas of the Study Advisory Board.
