Research

I am interested in convex optimization, optimal transport and Riemannian geometry applied to problems in image processing, shape analysis and machine learning.

Oct 2014 - Sep 2016	Post-Doctoral Researcher at CEREMADE, Université Paris-Dauphine. Advised by Gabriel Peyré and François-Xavier Vialard. I was a member of the MOKAPLAN team. Funded by the FSMP (2014-2015) and the ERC project SIGMA-Vision (2015-2016).
Oct 2010 - Sep 2014	Doctoral Student in the Image & Pattern Analysis Group at Heidelberg University, advised by Christoph Schnörr. Doctorate in Applied Mathematics (Dr. rer. nat.) for Dissertation "Isometry Invariant Shape Priors for Variational Image Segmentation", defended in May 2014.
