With a modern corporate design, info materials and presentation media, the University Marketing team of the Communication and Public Relations department enhances the University’s distinctive profile and increases its recognisability within and outside our institution.

    Congress Management

    The Congress Management team at the University of Münster Professional School gGmbH is the central contact point for all enquiries concerning the organisation of congresses. Congress Management coordinates its activities with partner departments of the University of Münster, e.g. the central room allocation, the University Marketing department and the Münster Marketing congress office.

  • Campus advertising

    Third parties are usually charged fees to advertise their products or services at the University of Münster. We offer digital advertising on pillars (posters, films, slideshows) as well as poster advertising (print poster frames, premium walls). Promotions, info stands on campus and online advertising are not possible.

  • Public projects

    Tree Discovery Trail
    Go on a nature discovery tour in the middle of the city! Our Tree Discovery Trail takes you to eight stops in the Schlossgarten. Each stop introduces you to the inhabitants of the garden’s “tree ecosystem”. These include woodpeckers, deadwood and mushrooms, insects, the uses of wood, bats and tree species. Signs at each stop provide detailed information, along with vivid illustrations and quizzes to test your knowledge!

    The information at each stop of the tour is only offered in German, but an English brochure is available free of charge at the Botanical Garden and in the Schloss.

    Little Tree School (Kleine Baumschule) (in German only)
    The Little Tree School introduces you to 16 trees growing in the Schlossgarten of the University of Münster. On the tour, you will learn about the legends and history of these quiet giants, as well as their size, age, leaf forms and trunk diameters.

    Children's University
    The Children's University is a programme of activities for third- to seventh-grade pupils, jointly organised by the University of Münster and the newspaper Westfälische Nachrichten. In child-friendly language, instructors from the University of Münster explain what their research is about, why their work is important and how the topic affects children.
