    In addition to your vocational school lessons, we regularly offer you internal training sessions where you can acquire additional skills. Our experienced trainers prepare you optimally for the upcoming examinations and the start of your professional life:

    • telephone training – become a professional in dealing with conversation partners on the telephone.
    • confident appearance & etiquette – show yourself at your best in your professional life.

    And much more – we organise additional training sessions as required.

    As the University of Münster becomes increasingly international, we offer our trainees in commercial professions an extensive internal English training programme – with a final certificate!

    Our trainees across 22 different vocational trainings exchange ideas, have fun, learn from one another, and quickly grow into a strong community through joint projects, training sessions, and events.   • Training allowance and completion bonus

    Money makes the world go round!

    According to the collective agreement for trainees in the public service (TVA-L), your training allowance is currently (as of 01.02.2025):

    1. First training year: €1.236,82

    2. Second training year: €1.290,96

    3. Third training year: €1.340,61

    4. Fourth training year: €1.409,51

    • In addition, the University of Münster currently pays its trainees a capital formation grant of €13,29 per month.
    • At the end of the year, you will receive a year-end bonus of 95% of the training allowance for the month of November ("Christmas money").
    • After passing the final examination, you will additionally receive a completion bonus of €400.

  • Regulated working hours and holiday

    Regulated working hours

    The weekly working hours amount to 39.83 h (39 h 50 min). The working hours are distributed over a five-day week from Monday to Friday. You discuss the start and end of work individually with the trainers.

    Time for relaxation

    You have 30 days of holiday per year (plus two free days on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve) and thus enough time for relaxation, leisure and everything that is important to you.

    At the University of Münster, you work in an international environment and have the chance to complete a work placement abroad – including the additional qualification "europe assistant", if you wish.

    Fit through your education

    Our "Azubi-Fit-Programm" ("trainee-sports-programme") supports you and your trainee team in staying healthy and balanced through daily life. Additionally, you can use the extensive offer of university sports at a low cost.

    With the "AzubiAbo plus" for Münster, you can use buses and trains at a reduced price (€36.40/month) and be sustainably mobile:

    • Travel by bus and train in Münster 24/7
    • From 2 pm also beyond Münster – optionally to the entire Münsterland or transition Münsterland/Ruhr-Lippe area – during holidays, weekends and public holidays even all day
