For you, a new, important and certainly exciting chapter of life begins with the start of your vocational training.
In general, you start on 1 August of a year – depending on the timing of the summer holidays, the start date may also be postponed to 15 August or 1 September.
To ensure you feel well taken care of from the very beginning, we start together with a welcome event for all new vocational trainees. There you will receive all the important information, get to know your contact persons and meet the other vocational trainees from the various vocational training professions. This makes it easy for you to make contacts and settle in right away.
During your vocational training, you can expect a varied mix of theory and practice.
Vocational school: Here you acquire the theoretical foundations for your vocational training and systematically build up your specialist knowledge.
Practice: From the very beginning, you are a valuable part of the team and actively work with them. Our committed trainers are always by your side, explain everything clearly and support you on your journey. Before long, you can take on your own tasks and small projects.
Next to your vocational school lessons, you regularly attend internal trainee training courses. There, you develop both professionally and personally, acquire additional skills, and get to know the other vocational trainees better along the way. Our experienced trainers prepare you optimally for your examinations.
As the University of Münster becomes increasingly international, we offer our vocational trainees in commercial professions an extensive internal English training programme – with a final certificate!
At the end of your education, the final important milestone awaits: your theoretical and practical or oral final examination with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce or the Chamber of Crafts. We support you in this as best as possible in your preparation.
If you successfully complete your education, you can look forward to a completion bonus of €400 – as recognition of your achievement.
And what happens next? In some of our training occupations, there are good chances of being taken on. In addition, we have been training beyond demand for years to enable young people to enter the job market. Our extensive network in the region thus opens up very good job prospects for all trainees after completion.
