The Research Alumni strategy (RE.AL) of the University of Münster aims to promote sustainable research cooperations and increase the university’s visibility worldwide.

With the WiRe - Women in Research Fellowship programme, the University of Münster supports international postdoctoral women researchers in conducting research projects in cooperation with professors at our university. The programme's goals include attracting and retaining outstanding international early-career researchers, as well as providing targeted support to female researchers at the critical postdoctoral stage. A particular focus of the programme lies on science communication: fellows receive training in effective science communication and are involved in various activities and formats to make their research findings accessible to a broad audience.
The programme was initiated by the Department of Researchers & Staff at the International Office and is being implemented and further developed here.
