Welcome Weeks | 10 - 14 Oktober 2024

Dive right into the research community of Münster and discover all 'Welcome' events to favor the onboarding process of newly arrived international researchers. These range from small-scale events such as the Welcome Talk for guesthouse residents to a guided city tour in English as well as information events on the Welcome Centre services and engaging get-togethers such as an outdoor barbecue. All events offer opportunities to network an socialize that will benefit not only incoming researchers but also supporting staff in the institutes. See detailed programme schedule below.

Designed for international researchers, professors and hosting staff, this event aims to provide valuable insights and guidance on navigating careers and legal frameworks in Germany. USA, Brazil, India or Spain: Common sport connects people. With a professional one-day workshop, the new Welcome & Dance on Skates course in cooperation with HSP and TK was launched. This activityoffers a great opportunity for networking between international and German university members and Münster residents. In addition to that an introduction to skating - for example, how to fall and brake properly - the focus was on first dance steps and getting to know each other while having fun moving.

More German and international participants are welcome at the open Roller Skate Meeting on Wednesday evenings. A small number of rental skates are available.
