Students Sought for Whitewater Project

The Neuromotorics & Training Department is looking for students (preferably in their 2nd or 4th semester—all majors) who are willing to participate in a whitewater course and take on small, manageable research projects there (e.g., administering questionnaires, load monitoring…).
Requirements: A desire and interest to safely try out this exciting sport under supervision! You should be familiar with working with data or be willing to learn. Please note that you will be in flowing water (water temperature approx. 8 °C) and will need to swim there. You should have good swimming and rescue skills and feel confident underwater. In whitewater, you will also face mental challenges and will frequently need to “push yourself.”
Participation may also count toward academic credit (depending on the research project and degree program) or serve as preparation for a bachelor’s thesis.
If you are interested, please contact Prof. Dr. E. Eils
