Examination Regulations for the MA Comparative Public Governance
1. Amendment to the “Examination Regulations for the Double Degree Master Programme Comparative Public Governance" (effective from September 2021)
Graduates of the master programme Comparative Public Governance will hold two diplomas: a one-year Master of Science (MSc) degree in European Studies from Twente University and a two-year Master of Arts (MA) degree in Comparative Public Governance from Münster University.
Please note: The master programme Comparative Public Governance can only be started in the winter semester (start: September 1st in Enschede)!
Application and admission to the programme are taking place via Twente University. Please address questions concerning the application, admission and enrolment process to Mr. Martin de Nobel (programme coordinator, University of Twente).
Please note that if you want to study the MA Comparative Public Governance and benefit from the NRW semester ticket already from your first semester in Twente on, you also need to apply online at the University of Münster (deadline: July 15th). In case that you will be admitted at the University of Twente you will also be admitted in Münster in order to register by paying the WWU semester fee for the winter term. Costs
The tuition fee per year at Twente University is at present € 2.000 for students with a citizenship of an EEA country (European Economic Area). Non-EEA citizens will have to pay an amount of approx. € 10.000 per year. For further details and conditions of partial reimbursement of fees please visit

In Münster there is a general administrative fee (including a semester ticket for free use of public transportation in the Münster region; the ticket covers the railway line between Münster and Enschede).
