Careers Service
The Careers Service of the University of Münster is the central office for all matters related to career orientation. Individual consultation and an extensive programme of workshops and webinars allow students to complete their studies in a professionally oriented manner, develop their own career goals and create corresponding professional profiles. The Careers Service also offers a wide range of support services, e.g. preparing job applications, developing appropriate application strategies, establishing contact to potential employers, and organising internships, practical projects and finding suitable positions following graduation.

University Centre for Teacher Education (ZfL)
The University Centre for Teacher Education (ZfL) offers a broad range of information materials, workshops and advice services on teaching degree programmes at the University of Münster and teaching career perspectives. Its services are targeted at both prospective and current students. The ZfL staff assist students with organising and preparing teaching internships and offer consultation on the goals and content of practical phases required by their degree programmes. The ZfL also offers a variety of services and events which help students make the transition to in-school teacher training programmes.

Professional orientation and career planning services

Federal Employment Agency
In addition to the services offered by the Academic Professions Department at the local Employment Agency in Ahlen-Münster [de], the International Placement Service (ZAV) of the Federal Employment Agency offers assistance and advice to (severely) handicapped academics. It provides clients with application strategies, tips for designing application documents, information on funding opportunities and a compilation of current job openings updated every 14 days as a PDF download.

REHADAT
REHADAT is a service offered by the German Economic Institute of Cologne (IW Köln) and is financed by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS). It provides participants career orientation following graduation from secondary school or university and offers information material containing helpful links and contact partners on topics of interest for people with disabilities (e.g. financial aid, workplace equipment, social laws and regulations).
