Diversity and Social Inequality (M.A.)
The new Master's degree course in »Diversity and Social Inequality« at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Münster will start in the winter semester 2025/26. With its clear focus on the application of diversity in organizations, the Master's course approaches the currently highly controversial topic of diversity from a scientific-empirical perspective. Graduates of the Master's programme will be able to supplement normative-political discourses on diversity with empirical findings and to evaluate existing and planned measures to strengthen diversity in organizations.
The registration period begins on May 1, 2025 and ends on July 15, 2025.

- The Master's degree course comprises four semesters with a total of 120 ECTS credits. It is designed as a full-time course.

The target group
The course is aimed at Bachelor's graduates in sociology or comparable social science courses with overlapping content (e.g. political science, education, communication studies, gender studies, cultural studies). Basic knowledge of empirical social research and social science social analysis (60 ECTS) is required.
