Every two years, the University of Münster awards a 20,000-euro prize to honour innovative, internal projects and measures which promote equal opportunity for both women and men. The prize is presented by the Rector to individual staff, groups of staff, working areas, facilities, departments or faculies of the University.
The award promotes projects which
- could not have been otherwise implemented without the prize money
- have already been implemented or are currently underway, and which can be repeated or continued with the help of the prize money
- have concluded less than two years prior to the award on the condition that the prize money be used for purposes of equal opportunity
