Welcome to the website of the Junior Professorship for Global Environmental Governance
The Junior Professorship for Global Environmental Governance at IfPol focusses on the (international) governance of social and political transformation processes in the socio-ecological areas of mobility, energy and food. Special attention is paid to researching the dynamics of global sustainability norms in the (EU) multi-level system and civil society processes. Another focus is on analysing socio-cultural and socio-technical change as well as questions of knowledge integration, interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity.
The junior professorship is currently working on the interdisciplinary project ‘BIOSTORE - Biologization of Batteries and Materials: Developing the Battery of the Future’ as part of the ‘Profilbildung’ funding programme of the Ministry of Culture and Science (MKW) NRW. Until April 2024, she worked on the third-party funded ERA-Net project (EU/BMBF) SmartHubs - Smart Mobility Hubs as Game Changers in Transport (2021-2024). Until May 2022, Antonia Graf co-led the junior research group DynaMo: Mobility-Energy-Dynamics (2016-2022) funded by the BMBF's Social-Ecological Research (SÖF) programme.
