The junior professorship for Global Environmental Governance has an interdisciplinary focus and works at IfPol primarily on (international) governance of social and political transformation processes in the areas of mobility, energy and food. Particular attention is paid to researching socio-technical change, conditions for successful knowledge integration and successful transdisciplinary cooperation.
The junior professorship is currently working on the interdisciplinary project ‘BIOSTORE - Biologization of Batteries and Materials: Developing the Battery of the Future’ as part of the ‘Profilbildung’ funding programme of the Ministry of Culture and Science (MKW) NRW. In April 2024, we successfully completed the European Research Area Network project SmartHubs - Smart Mobility Hubs as Game Changers in Transport (2021-2024). Until May 2022, Antonia Graf co-led the junior research group DynaMo: Mobility-Energy-Dynamics (2016-2022) funded by the BMBF's Social-Ecological Research (SÖF) programme.
