The Inclusive Education Research Group focuses on issues related to inclusion in schools and teaching. Our research and teaching is based on a broad understanding of inclusion, taking into account different dimensions of diversity. Research is concerned with the development of inclusive schools and education as well as with the professionalization of student teachers, teachers and school principals in an inclusive context.

The content of the courses includes basic scientific theories, concepts and empirical findings of inclusive pedagogy, didactics and of teaching methodological concepts as well as content of resource-oriented diagnostics and support in inclusive teaching-learning situations. On this basis, trainee teachers are enabled to make well-founded didactic decisions and reflect constructively and critically on practical experiences. This enables them to deal competently with the heterogeneity of students.
