Abberior STEADYCON Superresolution Workshop

We are pleased to inform you that the Münster Imaging Network together with Abberior Instruments will offer a STEADYCON Superresolution workshop and system demo at the MIC.
In preparation for the workshop, Dr. Dirk Luchtmann from Abberior Instruments will give a preparatory webinar about the STEADYCON and special requirements of sample preparation.

Seminarreihe „Fluoreszenzmikroskopie“

Wir geben eine Einführung in unterschiedliche Geräte und Methoden für die Fluoreszenzmikroskopie – angefangen bei der Vorbereitung von Proben sowie grundlegenden Funktionen und Geräteeinstellungen bis zu Besonderheiten im technischen Aufbau spezieller Mikroskope. Zu den behandelten Techniken gehören fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP), fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) und fluorescence-lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM), Super-Resolution-Methoden wie stimulated emission depletion (STED) und single molecule localization microscopy (SMLM) sowie single particle tracking. Alle interessierten Mitarbeitenden der Uni Münster und insbesondere Masterstudierende und Promovierende sind herzlich willkommen!

Auf Youtube gibt es rund 20 Stunden Videomaterial aus dem Symposium „Beginners guide to fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM)“, das unser Imaging Network gemeinsam mit zahlreichen Partnern organisiert hat. Die Playlist enthält einführende Vorträge und interaktive Demonstrationen am Mikroskop.

Die Teilnehmerzahl ist auf zehn Personen pro Workshop begrenzt. Bitte senden Sie Ihre Anfrage für die Teilnahme an cim@uni-muenster.de (mit Angabe Ihres Namens und Ihrer Institution).

Die Workshops finden online per Zoom statt. Wir werden Remote auf unserem Analyseserver arbeiten. Idealerweise arbeiten Sie mit einem großen oder zwei Monitoren. Es sind keine weiteren technischen Vorbereitungen notwendig.

    Topics: overview and short introductions to advanced Fiji plugins, open source software (Ilastik/Cellprofiler) as well as purchased software available at Münster University like Imaris (3D Analysis) and Huygens Professional (deconvolution & general image restoration)

    Image processing with Fiji/ImageJ – Advanced course (macro programming)

    Topics: detailed lecture about ImageJ macro language, step-by-step programming tutorial, open to discuss and write own macros
    Important: Participation in our Fiji/ImageJ beginner course or the Biovoxxel ImageJ/Fiji course, or detailed knowledge of Fiji/first experiences with macros or other programming languages is required.
