BaMa-Day 2026

The Physics Student Council invites all new students at the Department of Physics to the Introduction Week starting on the 4th November 2026 from 2 pm s.t. in the foyer of the IG1. All important information can always be found on the corresponding website.

The BaMa-Day is the opportunity to meet research groups for your bachelor and master thesis since a lot of groups will be gathered in one spot, all with the goal of recruiting new bachelor and master students!

After a talk on bachelor and master theses in general in the HS1 at 2:30 pm s.t. by the student council and dean of study Prof. Dr. Hubert Krenner (which will be held in English), there will be a poster session in the lobby of the IG1 in front of the lecture hall entrances with coffee, tea and cookies starting at about 3 pm. There you can meet members of the various research groups, learn about their work, ask them about anything and find out what you might work on for your thesis.
