Formalities
The various tasks of IT administration are performed by the IT administrator, whose rights and duties are stated in the Regulations for IT Administrators at the University of Münster dated 29th April 2009. (In the following referred to as "The Regulations").
Every person that posesses administrative rights on a networked device is according to the regulations an IT administrator. This applies regardless of having set up a special access or not. Every IT administrator is to be instructed according to the regulations and to be made known to the CIT.
