Arnulf Jentzen among the world's most cited researchers

Prof. Dr. Arnulf Jentzen, investigator at Mathematics Münster, is listed in the current citation ranking of the US-based company Clarivate Analytics. He is thereby one of the most cited researchers worldwide and one of 65 in the field of mathematics.

The current "Highly Cited Researchers 2025" list features 6,868 scientists from around the world across 21 disciplines. As some of them received the award for more than one field of research, a total of 7,131 awards were presented. In the country comparison, Germany ranks fourth with 363 awards, behind the United States (2,669), China (1,408), and the United Kingdom (570).

The main research topics of Arnulf Jentzen's research group are machine learning approximation algorithms, computational stochastics, numerical analysis for high dimensional partial differential equations (PDEs), stochastic analysis, and computational finance.
