We welcome Guido Arnone as a new Young Research Fellow at our cluster. He has recently completed his doctorate at Universidad de Buenos Aires under the supervision of Guillermo Cortiñas. His research interests centre on algebraic bivariant K-theory, which he applies to ring-theoretic classification, as an algebraic counterpart to the Kirchberg-Phillips classification programme for C*-algebras. As a Young Research Fellow in Münster, he will be working on a project concerning the K-theory of sheaves on étale groupoids, in collaboration with Thomas Nikolaus and Devarshi Mukherjee.
