Impressions from the 'MM Spotlight Week on Career Development'

Last week was all about the MM Spotlight Week on Career Development. Bundled into one week, doctoral researchers and postdocs from Mathematics Münster were able to further their education on various topics, from career orientation and sharpening their own research profile to preparing applications for jobs outside academia and acquiring third-party funding. Prof. Dr. Martin Huesmann was able to provide valuable tips on the latter. On Wednesday, Nathalie Wahl, professor and director of the Copenhagen Centre for Geometry and Topology, provided insights into her personal career path. Many early career researchers took advantage of this opportunity to exchange ideas, sharpen their profiles and reflect on their own career paths.
