We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Werner has joined our Cluster as a new Münster Research Fellow. She is professor of mathematics at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio).

She is a world-leading expert working in convex geometry, functional analysis, and probability theory. In particular she is known for her research on structural properties of convex sets, approximation of convex bodies by polytopes, and the study of asymptotic properties of random polytopes.

During her stay at our Cluster from May to mid-August 2025 and from May to July 2026, she intensified her collaborations with Anna Gusakova. From May to mid-August 2026, she will continue her collaborations with Mathematics Münster's researchers.
