Kristin (Courtney) Gabe awarded Inge Lehmann Grant
Kristin (Courtney) Gabe has received the highly esteemed Inge Lehmann grant from the Independent Research Fund Denmark. The grant recognizes her advanced research in the field of operator algebras, a branch of theoretical mathematics with strong ties to quantum physics.
The grant is endowed with 3.162.672 DKK (~425.000 Euro). The projekt "C*-algebras at the Limit: a new construction" will be funded from 1 June 2025 until 31 May 2028.
Kristin Gabe is an external investigator of Mathematics Münster and a former MATHRIX professor. Since 2023, she has held an assistant professorship at the University of Southern Denmark.
