Exam Registration and Withdrawal
The University of Münster is currently converting its Campus Management System as part of a multi-year project [GER]. Exam registrations and withdrawals are therefore currently being processed by Department 10 using two different systems, the new SLcM and the old QISPOS. Which system is used depends on the degree program and, in some cases, the time of enrollment. The assignment is documented here [GER].
Registration
Each semester, you must register for the courses you are taking and the exams you want to take in SLcM or QISPOS. Since the systems are not easy to understand, especially for first-year students, we have created two short guides to help you register correctly. Currently they are only available in German but we are working on an english translation.

Withdrawal
You can withdraw from an exam without giving a reason up to one week before the exam; after that, you need a valid reason. Withdrawal for such a valid reason will only be accepted if the following steps are taken as soon as possible at the relevant examination office (here Examination Office for the Faculty of Mathematics and Nature Sciences):
First, you must notify the relevant contact person, who you can find here, by phone or email no later than one working day after the exam-related performance. Then you need a medical certificate, which must have been issued no later than the day of the exam and, with justified proof, no later than one day after the missed exam. This also applies to other valid reasons for withdrawal.
You must then provide credible evidence of your inability to take the exam. To do this, the original certificate must be submitted to the Examination Office no later than 3 working days after the exam. You can do this either by mail or via the deadline mailbox, which you will find at Schlossplatz 2. If you send it by mail, the date of the postmark is relevant for the deadline. If you have a contagious illness, please ask the examination office not to bring the documents in person due to the risk of infection. In addition, the withdrawal form must be completed and also submitted to the Examination Office, either by email when withdrawing or together with the medical certificate. The form can be found at the Examination Office for the Faculty of Mathematics and Nature Sciences under General Forms.
