Am I required to register for courses and examinations?

Yes. You must register all of your classes AND(!) exams via the QISPOS portal during the registration period. Examinations are registered via the QISPOS portal or per registration document. For further information, please consult the page for students in the BA program, the bulletin board across from the dean's office as well as the board outside room 110.

Attention: classes and exams will only count for ECTS at the end of the semester if you previously registered them. No classes and no degree-relevant examinations can be registered once the registration period ends.

Do I have to register classes via the LSF portal also?

In order to facilitate the allocation of students into their classes, please register all classes via the LSF portal before the start of the new semester. Some classes with low capacity will limit the registration to a certain amount of students; thus, you must register for those classes either on 15th September or as of 10th March via the LSF portal. Otherwise, you cannot attend those classes.

What language competences do I have to attain during my bachelor's degree program?

This depends on which master's of education degree program you plan to apply to after you receive your bachelor's degree. As a condition of application for the master's degree to teach at higher-level secondary and comprehensive secondary schools, you must complete either the qualifying examination in Greek and Latin or Hebrew. It is strongly recommended to begin studying these languages as early in your bachelor's program as possible so that you can apply this knowledge in the various courses you take. For the abovementioned master's program it is also expected that you will demonstrate participation in a course in the area of "New Testament" for which you will have to complete an introductory seminar that includes Greek. You may complete the other master's of education programs (teaching in primary schools, in lower-level secondary, mid-level secondary and comprehensive secondary schools or vocational colleges) without demonstrating knowledge of ancient languages.

Do I have to study the modules of the program in the order as preset by its examinations regulations?

When can I register my final module examination?

Registration is possible if all requirements, including the successful completion of all courses within that module, are met. Then the registration via the QISPOS portal is possible.

Where can I find the dates to register for a final module examination (in form of a written examination or an oral examination) and how do I go about registering the examination?

Dates and the examination block dates for all final module examinations (either written examination or oral examination) can be found here and posted outside room 110. Important tips can be found on the bulletin board opposite the dean's office. Please fill in the registration document as far as possible and have your first supervisor as well as your responsible module commissary sign it.
