Hinweis zu englischsprachigen Veranstaltungen
Die folgenden Veranstaltungen werden ab Wintersemester 2017/18 in englischer Sprache angeboten:
V Vertiefende Aspekte der Tierökologie (Advanced topics in animal ecology) 
Ü Umweltstatistik II - Auswertung wissenschaftlicher Versuche (Data analysis for Scientific Experiments)

Die Arbeitsgruppe Tierökologie und multitrophische Interaktionen befasst sich mit folgenden Themen:

  •     Biologische Vielfalt (Biodiversitätsforschung)
  •     Globaler Wandel ("global change")
  •     Multitrophische Interaktionen (z.B. Räuber-Beute und Pflanze-Herbivor-Systeme)

Wir kombinieren ökologische Feldexperimente mit Anwendungen in der Landwirtschaft und im Naturschutz.
Ziel ist es, mit Hilfe unserer Forschungen einen Beitrag zum Schutz der Natur für künftige Generationen zu leisten.

25th April 2016 Plant biodiversity explained: How local management and disturbance govern plant biodiversity across a wide range of habitats (ranging from salt marshes to dry grasslands and heathlands). Look at this new paper by Vanessa Minden et al.

4th March 2016 New paper by Christine Venjakob et al. uses three-dimensional tensor product splines (implemented in Simon Wood´s mgcv package in R) to investigate spatiotemporal plant-pollinator interactions in the Jena Experiment.

9th February 2016 New paper by Julia Tiede et al. shows how next-generation DNA sequencing can be used to unravel trophic and non-trophic interactions in a biodiversity experiment
