Great joy at the Institute of Sport and Exercise Sciences: Christiane Bohn has been awarded the 2025 Ars legendi Faculty Award in Sport Science. With this award, which is endowed with €10,000, the Stifterverband, the German Association of Faculties of Sport Science and the German Society of Sport Science honour her outstanding and exemplary achievements in university teaching.
The jury was particularly impressed by Christiane Bohn’s ability to combine academic expertise, a strong practical focus, pedagogical sensitivity and exceptionally supportive guidance for students. Through her teaching, she makes important contributions in areas including adapted physical education, psychomotor education and teacher training.
