Consultation hours and opening times
Please note the following change: The central examination offices are currently only open once a week. Office hours are as follows:
Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
In addition, you are welcome to make appointments with your designated administrator outside of office hours.
We can still be reached by telephone and email from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This measure is related to the upcoming relocation.
Closing time over Christmas and New Year: The Examination Office will be closed from 22 December 2025 to 2 January 2026.
We will be available again from 5 January 2026.

The Examination Office has moved! We are available at our new location at Scharnhorststraße 44 (ground floor).

Digital processes
Many paper-based work processes at the Examinations Office have been transferred to digital procedures. In some cases, however, the examination regulations require the written form. We have adapted much of the information on this in the "Forms" section.
Unfortunately, it is not (yet) possible to fully introduce digital procedures for all processes because some processes require the written form. This is due to the examination regulations and data protection requirements. It affects the following processes:
For inspections, it will only be possible to send them via email in exceptional cases. As a rule, you must come to the Examinations Office to inspect your documents.
Provisional final documents must be handed to you on paper. Please come to our office hours to collect them (or send someone with authority).
Please note that issuing documents on paper may take longer than sending them digitally. Therefore, please allow more processing time for the application of documents.
