On Tuesday, November 4th at 6:00 PM (in M2), it’s that time again: main perspectives is back!

“Mathematicians and computer scientists are in high demand on the job market — you’ll have no trouble finding work after graduation!” … But honestly: do you actually know what kind of projects you’ll be working on in these companies?

main perspectives, a joint initiative by the Student Council for Mathematics & Computer Science and the MMGS, is aimed at Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students in Mathematics or Computer Science and helps you find answers to exactly that question.

This time, Rewe Group, Check24 and MSK (insurance consulting) will be presenting in three speaker slots. Each slot consists of a 15-minute talk followed by a 5-minute Q&A session. The idea: all talks are given by graduates of Mathematics or Computer Science and offer you a concrete look into the kinds of problems and challenges mathematicians and computer scientists face in these companies.

After the talks, you’re invited to join us for a free buffet and drinks, where you can chat directly with company representatives and make valuable connections.
