Alumni Day 2018: Brunch at the Fürstenbergplatz

The Alumni-Club WWU Münster cordially invited the former students and colleagues to the Alumni Day 2018 on Saturday, 7 July 2018. Rector Prof. Johannes Wessels welcomed the guests and gave an overview over the current developments at the University. Afterwards he appointed the first WWU Ambassadors in the context of the Research Alumni Strategy. Prof.  Thomas Großbölting held the keynote speech "Das andere '1968'. Die Protestbewegung global – national – lokal".

During the subsequent brunch at the Fürstenplatz the alumni had the opportunity to get into conversation with their former fellow students and collegues. After brunch the guests could get to know the more unusual and unfamiliar aspects of your alma mater and of Münster with various tours and lectures. In the afternoon and the evening various institutes and faculties offered further events.
