Research report of North Rhine-Westfalia

This research report provides a comprehensive overview of the research activities and results of the 32 universities and universities of applied sciences (HAW) in North Rhine-Westphalia. The report presents research-relevant data – for example, on third-party funding, publications, and patents. At the same time, specific projects in three selected research areas are examined in detail for each university and HAW – for the years 2021 to 2023: globalization and sustainability, information technology, and life and well-being. The State Research Report is published every three years.

Research portal of the University of Münster

The University of Münster continuously reports on its diverse research activities and results in its public research portal. The portal provides a comprehensive overview of the published profiles of our scientists, their research focuses, research projects, resulting publications, awards received, and supervised doctoral and postdoctoral theses. Since 2018, the research portal acts as a living research report. In this way, the University of Münster addresses its reporting obligations in accordance with HG NRW §70, Abs. 4 and §71a, Abs. 1.

Archive of university-wide research reports

The research reports of the University of Münster from 2005 to 2017 were created as PDF documents. The reports from 1995 to 2004 are available as archived websites. These are available digitally in an archive and can be downloaded. Reports from 1971 to 1998 are available in printed form at the University and State Library (ULB) in Münster for inspection.
