PhysAgeNet Conclusion and Strategic Outlook

After four years, the COST Action The Network on Evidence-Based Physical Activity in Old Age (PhysAgeNet) discussed and presented the project´s key scientific findings during final meetings – including guidelines, frameworks and tools to enhance research on evidence-based physical activity in old age. All materials are publicity available at Zenodo and at the PhysAgeNet Website.
The research network achieved in bringing together over 450 researchers from 55 countries, including a large diversity of disciplines, genders, career stages.
Looking ahead, the network activities will continue under the leadership of Prof. Michael Brach (University of Münster) and Prof. Yael Netz (The Academic College at Wingate), in collaboration with EGRAPA- The European Group for Research on Ageing and Physical Activity.
