Season opening in the medicinal herb garden

The University of Münster’s Medicinal Plant Garden will officially open for the new season on 26 April 2026 and warmly invites anyone interested to visit.
As part of the opening, the first Sunday tour of the year will take place:
Prof. Dr Schmidt will lead a tour of the garden entitled ‘What’s blooming already? – Spring in the Medicinal Plant Garden’, offering fascinating insights into the world of early-flowering medicinal plants.

The popular Sunday tours will continue throughout the season and take place on the last Sunday of each month. Each tour has its own theme and offers new insights into the diversity and importance of medicinal and useful plants.
As the Sunday tours are designed for a limited number of participants, we ask that you register in advance via the Medicinal Plant Garden website (uni.ms/b74yg).

 There you will also find further dates, topics and the garden’s general opening hours.
In addition, private guided tours are available by arrangement. Interested groups are kindly requested to contact the administrative office of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Biology and Phytochemistry at the University of Münster at pharmbio@uni-muenster.de.
