We are happy to share information about the “Kompost Festival” 2023, which is lead-organized by the interdisciplinary research network “StadtLabor” (University of Muenster). The ZIN is co-hosting the kick-off event "Kreislaufdinner”.

From June 16th to 22nd, the “Kompost Festival” will take place for the second time. The festival is an experimental event format, focusing on ecology and socio-ecological transformation. The festival deals with human-environment relations in a profound, careful and practical way. In the interstice of ecology, art, science and civic engagement, it explores questions of fruitful regeneration.

Between Friday June 16 and Thursday June 22, cycling tours, improvisational theater, workshops, lectures, open-air cinemas and interventions will take place at various locations in Muenster, dealing with soil life, sealing, human-soil relationships, agriculture, upcycling and the Anthropocene in innovative, practical, artistic and scientific ways. The kick-off event - the "Kreislauf-Dinner"- will take place on June 17 from 5pm at the vhs Forum and is organized by StadtLabor together with the ZIN, the vhs Münster and the fairteilbar.
