In a recent interview with Volker Mrasek, Deutschlandfunk, Prof. Bodo Philipp talks about the potential dangers of bile acids contained in liquid manure for animal arable soils.

Initial experiments by the ZIN member's working group gave rise to the assumption that fertilization with liquid manure releases endocrine disrupters and damages soil organisms. Prof. Philipp and his colleagues want to investigate this assumption further through further experiment.
