RStudio is an integrated development environment and graphical user interface for the R statistical programming language. RStudio allows autocompletion, automatic indentation, syntax highlighting, code folding, integrated help and information about objects in the working environment. There is the possibility to view and edit data sets. Scripts, data and other files can be combined into projects (.Rproj), which facilitates collaboration, especially since version management with Git is included. In addition, code can be compiled in C, C++ or Fortran and integrated directly.
