Python is a general-purpose, commonly interpreted, higher-level programming language. It claims to promote an easy-to-read, concise programming style. This is achieved primarily by two measures. First, the language gets by with relatively few keywords, and second, the syntax is reduced and optimized for clarity. Compared to Python 2, Python 3 includes some profound changes to the language, such as the removal of redundancies in command sets and deprecated constructs.
